Is it time to tell a new and better story about yourself?

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been on a super accelerated path of transformation these past several years.

Even before the pandemic, starting with the birth of my son, everything in my life has been undergoing a massive upgrade on steroids.

As a result, I now see myself differently than I ever have before. It’s because of these recent, powerful shifts that I thought I would take a few moments here to re-introduce myself to you.

Here is a recent photo of my son Ocean and I. 😂

I also want you to know how glad I am to have you here.

People might say that a lot, but one thing you’ll learn about me is that I choose my words very carefully. I mean what I say, and I honestly believe every minute you spend reading my emails is a gift.

I do my best to repay that gift by writing emails that are open-hearted, colorful, honest, and most of all inspiring and entertaining.

If you choose to stick around, you’ll hear some common themes in my emails.

>> Like how much I adore my son, and how crazy unpredictable life can get living as a single working mama (and how I am constantly finding my way with that in the most self-honoring ways possible) 👑

>> Or how my experience of living with a long-standing health condition has transformed so much in my life (for the better), including how I organize my days, weeks, and months… and how much I’ve learned about the quantum levels of health and healing that so very often go overlooked 💪

>> Or how much I love spending time in nature, being a health-centric culinary genius in my kitchen, adorning my home with fresh flowers, and vacillating between listening to soothing meditative music and fierce rock-n-roll 🔥

>> And how much I love the deepest of deep when it comes to personal transformation work (I don’t do small!), and that I have some big feelings about how unusual it is to find practitioners, coaches, and guides who are truly in integrity with the transformational work they do 🌀

I don’t believe in adhering to a particular diet or way of eating (though I used to), or that our bodies are inherently broken or untrustworthy, or that pushing and forcing anything all the time is healthy or sustainable. We don’t do that here.

I believe the more fully we can embrace and embody the truth of who, what, and where we really are, the more vitality, beauty, and power we have available to us. Always.

I also believe that we look and feel our best when we listen and respond to what our bodies are communicating to us, and that most of us don’t know how to do this well, if at all.

Learning to fully honor yourself is about coming into a truer relationship with who you really are — and that goes for your body and all it requires, too. ❤

Speaking of coming home to yourself, I was raised on microwavable dinners, canned veggies and fruit, fast-food meals eaten in the back seat of a car, and a lot of dysfunction around food, eating, connection, and nourishment.

I was an overweight, very self-conscious, incredibly sensitive girl who took in far too many messages about how she didn’t belong, how something was inherently wrong with her, and how she had to work really, really hard for love.

I’ve grown into being a very intentional, deeply aware, profoundly connected and creative woman who knows her worth. I now know I do not need to prove anything to anyone, and that I am nourished most when I set my standards at the unwavering level of exceptional. 💎

I am still figuring out how to bring all my expertise and mastery together in a cohesive message for you, and how to wield my ambition in ways my current body and health can both fully appreciate.

I continually question how I can become an even better mother, and how to be a successful business person in today’s fast-paced, quickly-changing, late-stage capitalistic and patriarchal world.

Oh! I’m also currently exploring my longstanding desire to be “an artist” — whatever that means. You’ll sometimes find me in my home art studio playing with bright color and my imagination. It’s fun, mostly, and sometimes it brings up the full spectrum of feels for me. 🌈

One thing you most certainly need to know about me is that I am always trying new things, learning, stretching, and growing. My current edge is to play more, laugh more, and let myself be silly.

What’s one personal edge you are exploring right now?

I have so many stories, insights, and invaluable tips and tools to share with you about how to honor, value and love yourself more.

I hope you’ll stick around to hear them. If there is something you want to know about me, or something specific you’d like me to share about, please hit reply and let me know.

Thanks for reading my work. I’m so happy you’re here. 💗

Lots of love,

Alicia
